5 Grounds Of Unhappiness

1- Habit Of Comparison

It includes comparing yourself, your things, emotions, facilities, social popularity with others. Which ultimately drowns you at the end.

How to overcome this habit?

a- Limiting your social apps.

Socially active and spending time on Instagram, Facebook gradually makes your mind to compare, it's all about how your mind sees the things or how you make your mind to see the things. Try to find happiness in your friend's happiness.

b- Apply the CYTY method.

BG 4.40: But persons who possess neither faith nor knowledge, and who are of a doubting nature, suffer a downfall. For the skeptical souls, there is no happiness either in this world or the next.

Instead of comparing yourself with other people start Comparing yourself to yourself ( CYTY ) . Write down your growth, compare your days on behalf of a learning, analyze your progress, challenge yourself, and love yourself.
Never judge and criticize others. Remember, you have to judge yourself before judging and commenting on others.

2 - Hoping for Perfection

Think to be happy in life, do you need perfectionism?
Do you have to be perfect in all your work and hope for perfect results all the time?
Well, being ideal all in work and aiming for perfect results always is not possible.

How to overcome this habit?

a) Vote For Good Enough

Many things in life happen good enough , that one has to stop all their work and think about it as good enough for all their surroundings.

Hope for good enough, but don't apply it as an excuse to be lazy or to slack off.

b) Stop Fake Dreaming

Watching movies and series gives you a very easy idea of what the world and life are trying to tell you.
It sounds so good, easy, and wonderful that you start expectations from life.
But in real life, it clashes with reality and tends to cause much suffering and stress within you and in the people around you.
Everything is simple but you have to earn on your own.

3- Being Negative

Actually, what we feel, and how we react on things , depends on whom we socialize with , what we read, listen to or watch. It's not your heart and mind's fault if you talk negatively.

It becomes a lot harder to be happier if you let yourself be dragged down by negative voices.

Like voices that tell you that life in large part always be unhappy, dangerous, and filled with fear, worry, and limits and voices that watch life from a negative perspective.

How to overcome this habit?

a) Substitution

You just have to substitute your surroundings, spend time with the most positive voices.
Replace what you watch, read, and listen to. Spend more time on the things that make you happy and you actually enjoy them. If your friend circle sounds negative, don't spend time with them, find your productive circle or better stay home and go for positive blogs, podcasts, videos instead.
If someone constantly makes you unhappy, then you must build up the courage to let that person go.

4- Past and Future

There is past behind every unhappy person. Reliving and remembering old painful memories, mishappenings, conflicts, and missed opportunities is a sign of living unhappy. Time spares none.

Whatever happened was good. What's happening is going well. Whatever will happen will also be good. Do not worry about the future. Live in the present

How to overcome this habit?

a) Acceptance

Ups and Downs are part of life, you have to accept the things and situation.  Remember,  everything happened for a reason.
You have to accept things as they are. Figure out yourself and work upon yourself.

b) Apply the 5-5-5 rule

Wake up early and before tucking into your things, pre-plan your 5 hours.

What to do in the coming 5 hours, 5 months, and what you want in the coming 5 years.

5- Restraining

Holding and limiting yourself because you think that the world revolves around you and you are in fear that what people will think or say if you do something particular.
You are here restricting yourself to try new things and growing.
You think that as criticism or the negativity one encounters and feel it all as your fault everytime.

How to overcome this habit?

a) Build confidence

If somewhere you are limiting yourself means you are losing your belief and faith. Work on things and build a belief that you are good at your work.
Filter out your relations and realize people don't care much about you, just be good at your work.

b) Appreciate Yourself

Don't wait for others to support and appreciate you.  You are doing your work so honour yourself and know your self-esteem.
